♫Music

As I said in my previous post ("Life and Music"), I love music. Honestly though, I have really weird tastes in music. Lyrics are, in my opinion, the most important parts of songs, but I won't listen to a song that sounds horrible just because it's meaningful. I also take serious offense when a singer doesn't write his/her own music.

I really love Avril Lavigne and Evanescence for both their songs' lyrics and musical composition. I also tend to listen to a lot of Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. Lately, I've gotten into The Script and The Fray, both of which are absolutely amazing. I'm not actually as much of a Paramore fan as I claim to be, but I like The All-American Rejects and Jesse McCartney far more than I will admit. I also listen to SOME rap. I'm not sure why. I guess it's because some of the lyrics are so brilliant and meaningful. But I really like the rap in Airplanes by B.o.B. [feat. Hayley Williams], The Show Goes On by Lupe Fiasco, and (oh my God) Lil Wayne's How to Love. <3

Some of my favorite songs currently: For the First Time (The Script), Keep Holding On (Avril Lavigne), All-American Girl (Carrie Underwood), Breathe [2 A.M.] (Anna Nalick), My Immortal (Evanescence), How to Save a Life (The Fray), If I Die Young (The Band Perry), Remember When (Avril Lavigne), Invisible (Taylor Swift), The Man Who Can't Be Moved (The Script), Innocence (Avril Lavigne), She Will Be Loved (Maroon 5), The Best Damn Thing (Avril Lavigne), When You're Gone (Avril Lavigne), Nothing (The Script), What the Hell (Avril Lavigne), Hello (Evanescence), Breathe No More (Evanescence), White Horse (Taylor Swift), Goodbye (Avril Lavigne), Enchanted (Taylor Swift), Just a Dream (Carrie Underwood), A Thousand Miles (Vanessa Carlton), Wish You Were Here [Acoustic Version] (Avril Lavigne), and the three mentioned previously.
